When I was browsing StarDat.mpq with MPQEditor 1.3 beta 1 I found an unknown entry with a bigger size than other unknown entries. I extracted it and viewed it with the editor. When I saw the string "This program cannot be run in DOS mode." I knew that it was an application. I renamed it with *.exe and it changed its icon. I doubleclicked it and I was surprised. It was a little tool from Blizzard to create game templates (*.got). When you look at the properties of that file you can see that it was compiled 1997, while Starcraft was under development.
